Centro Zlín - Shopping Centre

Centro Nitra, with a net leasable area of 25,000 sq m, is a neighborhood shopping center with a catchment population of 70,000.

The shopping centre was developed in two phases in 2006 and 2009 and includes over 80 retail units leased to international brands: Billa, XXX Lutz, Pepco, Subway, Takko, NAY, Reserved, JYSK, CCC, and Baťa. Centro Nitra was one of the first institutional shopping center that opened in Slovakia. Our team undertook all land acquisition, design and permitting, project management, leasing, bank financing and property and asset management. Following the exit of Royal Ahold Hypermarket from the Slovak market in 2012, our Team redeveloped the 14,000 sq m space, undertook a significant repositioning of the center, expanding the tenant mix and improving the stabilized footfall to over 3 million, while increasing the WAULT, turnover and NOI. Developed in a long-term joint venture in the CEE region under a separate account with RREEF (now DWS Group).
